Only 58 days!!!!

Yes, its true - I've been a HUGE slacker at this thing called "blogging". I promise to be better at this after October :) This week has been a huge success for me. I think I checked off 10-15 "small" things on my lllloooonnnngggg list of things to do... and I still have Friday :)!! Only 58 days until I become Mrs. Vogel. Yay! One of the things that I checked off this week is that I finally found time to go through some pictures and get them sent to Beth (Marc's mom). While searching for pictures I came accross SO many great ones and along with the pics came the memories. Our farm when we were kids, grandma's birthday cakes, grade school, high school... horseback riding, crabby horses, kissing animal heads at Ashley's house... seriously! If we had all night to show a slideshow I think I would love it!

I found this one of Rocky when we first got him... he was so little.
This is the night in KC we got engaged (well the day after)

Abigail and Marc :)

Our family Christmas photo - a favorite! (Rocky looks sooo impressed) LOL.

Marc and Clara when we went out for supper in KC.

And finally... a night out in Lincoln.

Of course, the pictures from when I was little are ancient and definately not digital, but I'm so excited to see them all! I will have many, many more pics to post after October :)!! We filled out the info for our passports tonight, picked out our wedding bands a couple days ago, I scheduled my first dress fitting... seems like there is something to do everyday!! My list for tomorrow is growing by the hour... I can't believe the BIG day is right around the corner! Yay!!!! Stay tuned friends.... :)

Sunday night FUN :)

If you were a fly on the wall observing a typical Sunday night at the Vogel household it would probably look a little like this: I'm ususally pulling weeds or gardening or nestled in the computer room - looking up wedding songs, editing invites, constructing programs, emailing, goofing around on FB, etc. Marc's usually mowing the grass or lounging on the couch watching sports or UFC - Playing a little bit of everything on his guitar for hours on end. Rocky, our cat, is usually sleeping in the kitchen or sleeping in the living room, or sleeping in the computer room (Oh, the life of a cat). But that's it - that is our Sunday night routine.... usually.

So, if you asked me yesterday at 11:00 in the morning what I'd be doing last night - I'd rattle off the "usual" routine.
However, if you asked me at 12:15pm what I'd be doing last night - it would be a whole different story. Can you Say MICHAEL BUBLE?
Yep, that is right - after a phone call from a great friend my Sunday night routine was nixed and I was on my way to an amazing concert at the Qwest. Here are some pics :)

Jennifer and me at the concert :)

Naturally 7 was the opening group - seven amazingly talented acapella singers.
They were truly UNREAL!

He came to the back of the arena and we were touch him = AMAZING!

He sang HOME while we were this close (Made me think of A&D - Sept. 2 2006)

I asked one of the sound producers if I could have a beach ball - and they said yes!! So I carried this HUGE beach ball around with me for quite awhile (Yes, I even took it to the bathroom with me). Then, I finally remembered I could deflate it :)

Marc toured about 20 downtown Omaha bars while Reeps and I were at the concert. He met these three amazine nurses :) at the Hilton. They were awesome!! What an amazing night.

So, it turns out I'm okay with interfering with our Sunday night routine every once and a while :) It was SO worth it!
